Prime Grill and Solo are the two top

I looked at solos menu didn't seem to have much choices for entrees. What is the best steak in PG or Solo or Le Marais?

Personally my best steak has been at TPG, and i eat out very very often. Best appetizers are at Prime KO, though I must say that the duck spring rolls at  TPG are out of this world. Le Marais is half the price of TPG and Prime KO and personally the only thing that interests me there is the Pepper crusted Steak au Poivre. My experience at Solo was a overpriced not as good PG so i wouldn't recommend it.

For the appetizer I cant stress enough to you how good the BBQ Duck Spring Rolls are, but be aware that the Sushi there is phenomenal as well. As for the steak, it varies when you'll be there, try for a Sunday and you can get the Prime Grill "T" Bone Steak which is only available on Sunday's.

Pretty much agree with everything said, except for the best steak is at TPG.

For me, its the Delmonico at Le Carne. But best appies, by a mile, are Prime KO. Deeeeelicious. And pepper steak at Le Marais is really good.

Pepper steak at Le Marais is excellent.

However I am noticing that Mike's Bistro and Tevere seem to be underrated in this thread.

Agreed, both are outstanding restaurants, and Tevere is one of my most favorite restaurant in NYC, but its for a different palate. Not everyone likes lamb chops and sweetbreads which are both to die for at Tevere. If you just go to either there or mikes to get steaks (which will be amazing steaks) then your not experiencing what both these restaurants really have to offer.

I've attached a picture of the BBQ Duck Spring Rolls from TPG that I mentioned in a previous post.

I like Basil in Crown Heights. They have a Great goat cheese and mushroom pizza. The basil fries are a must have, they come with a garlic mayo type sauce. It is pricey and the wine is way overpriced, but its a nice atmosphere and I have had only good experience with the service.

Thank you :) Is my prize that your treating me out to Basil? In general Its mostly people from out of crown heights that eat there. Just look at the cars parked outside at night usually Lexus' or nicer. So it doesn't exactly have the feel of a crown heights restaurant. Have you been there before?

You mentioned Cafe K in Flatbush. It's sad that many people would not drive the extra 10 minutes and go to the Mill Basin location. It had a parking lot, wasn't as loud and full, yet the food there was still always delicious. The service was great as well.

Unfortunately, the just closed last month.

Point of my post: just reminiscing and giving a shout out to an underrated Brooklyn spot with good food, service, and parking!

T Fusion in Brooklyn is really good. Went there last week and was pleasantly surprised. I did not expect such good steak in Brooklyn.
