Hey guys, I'm going to be in New York from March 1st-March 6th and was wondering if there were any broadway shows/sports games that are worth watching. Thanks in advance.

Although it turns out that weekend (3/5) there will be a very professional basketball team playing at MSG.

I was at Abigails tonight and have to share that the food was fantastic. I haven't been there in 10 years and thought it was overrated but I was proven wrong.

Appetizers:

1. Sliders = Different types of meat, so delicious redefines a slider.
2. Asian Stir Fry = Great, spices very unique
3. Shanghai Dumpings = Small portion size, but very unique taste.

Entree:

Carnivores Delight = Buttery meat & chicken, great fries, very large portion.

Going to NYC for Christmas, airfare and suites have already been paid and booked.. looking for advice about the city.

Will be taking my family of 5 (kids: 12,16 & 17) for our first trip to NYC from Dec 21st to 28th. This was a family reunion idea my MIL had and requested everyone go. My husband and I are kind of dreading being in NYC during this time of year for our first trip there for a full 7 days. We are staying in Times Square and I'm sure it's goingto be unbelievably busy.. so a few questions I have to make it easier.

Trying to avoid the subway.. do they have UBER in NYC or perhaps a better suggestion?

We want to go to a really nice Restaurant for Xmas Dinner, I was given the suggestion Tavern on the Green any thoughts on this place or a nicer place? Looking for all American type food for everyone there will be 13 of us and the older crowd is not much for "trying something new"

Other than the usual "tourist trap" type places.. is there anything really unique and "under ground" so to speak that should be checked out or experienced once? Looking for off the beaten tourist path.

WHERE is the best Pizza? My husband is dying to know.

We will be getting tickets to the Rockettes show, but unsure which Broadway show to see that is family friendly. I'm thinking the usual "Cats, Lion King, Oz etc.." but not sure which is a MUST see? Any suggestions would be appreciated!

Thanks for your advice!

Christmas time is actually the BEST time to visit NYC. The summer is incredibly hot and humid, and while the winter can be brutally cold, that time of winter has the city decked out in lights. Don't see why you should avoid the subway as it's fast and in midtown, you can get almost anywhere quickly and easily, although 5 people will be expensive. Yes, we have Uber although it's expensive. You also can't fit 5 people in a regular Uber, will need a larger car, which would be even more expensive.

Sorry, only know about Kosher food options, and I don't think that's what you're looking for. :)

I'd recommend going to Winter Village at Bryant Park for some nice seasonal outdoor shops and ice skating rink (rink can be busy). I can't really think of any hidden gems at the moment. I've only heard bad reviews of Cats, but Aladdin was awesome! And if somehow Newsies comes back - that's a great show as well!

I think the shatnes lab that had been in a yeshiva on East 15th near L moved to Z. Berman, on Coney between M and something.  I'm hoping they'll be open tomorrow.  Can anyone confirm location or know hours?

I'm sure this has been discussed somewhere, but couldn't find it.. Are there restaurants or take out places that deliver to JFK?
