check in to hotel, no. But to use pool or gym you need vax. Restaurants need vax and YMMV if it’s enforced

If I am from out of town and in general unfamiliar with specific streets, what specific cross streets/areas are worth going to for shopping/food to take home (bakeries etc).
Looking for more specific location than just CH/BP/flatbush. More details/recommended stores would be appreciated

If you are coming to crown heights, Kingston ave between empire and eastern parkway is where you will find most things, with an flow onto some of the adjoining streets.

Boro Park: 13th ave from 39th - 54th is were most of the stores are.
Flatbush: Coney island ave between J & L. , Ave J between coney island and east 15th. , Ave M between Coney island and ocean ave. These are just a few strips of blocks thay come to mind full of stores....

I am looking for someone to fix windows in a shul where they don't hold up.
I don't know what the issue is called but they need to be fixed so when they are pulled up they hold.

I'm looking for which specific Councilman office(s) are most effective in willingness to help etc.

I was helping someone with a issue he had on paid family leave insurance. I called the governors office and they had someone call me back from this department and the matter was resolved in days!
This was for someone in NJ.
