the Marriott Brooklyn Bridge is nice and not too many points. For Dinner you can go to Bouef and Bun or Bison N Bourbon. But plenty of more options if you don’t like either of those

Looking for a place within driving range of NYC (max 5-6 hours) for a father with 2 kids (girl-12, boy-10). This would be for a day or 2 at the end of Jan.. Looking to spend up to approx $1k.
Any ideas?
I'm a pretty boring guy, so I really don't know of places here.

Its not really about the destination, more about 36 hours away from routine. That said and done i would prefer a nice hotel, maybe even a activity or two..

Buy the membership, it also works in all the zoos. Very worth it if you have a few kids.
