I think those are the better ones. I dont know much about Sushein, and Noahs Ark is walkable.
Any one tried sushein? Reviews?

Any decent places to eat in downtown manhattan? Around city hall

Cafe 11 has good, reasonably priced sushi.

I've tried it. The sushi was very good, burger pretty good too. Pretty expensive though.

I'm having trouble finding kosher restaurants by neighborhood.... anything decent in the Village or Chelsea or Union Sq area?  The only thing I've found so far is "Murray's Falafel & Grill"..... anyone ever eaten there?

Use Shamash.org's map. Just keep double clicking to zoom into the area you want. There are places with many different hechsherim listed, some of which may not be widely accepted, so check beforehand to make sure it's something you're okay with.

Good advice, thank you.

I always find it hard to figure out whether to rely on hechsherim.  Many times I've asked Rebbeim about a certain hechsher only to find that they never heard of it.  If they would tell me it's no good, then fine.  But not knowing about it doesn't mean "yes" or "no" in terms of reliability.  I've even had times where I asked several Rabbis or people who are knowledgeable about kashrus but nobody knew the organization (this usually happens when I travel out of town).  What do Dansdealers do when they encounter an obscure hechsher?

Has anyone stayed in the Intercontinental Barclays? I got a free night in a suite there through BRG in May.

If you trust the Star K, CRC (chicago) or any other national kashrus organization, try calling them - they are usually willing to tell you if a hechsher is reliable or not

I'm planning a trip to NYC with my wife for two days/one night a few weeks from now. Looking to stay in a nice hotel in the 15K to 25K points range (hyatt or spg - plenty of points for each). Any recommendations would be very much appreciated!
Also, recommendations for great restaurants and attractions - please tell me your favorites!

TIA
