From applying it take 3-7 days to get approval.
Between JFK-EWR if you keep refreshing you can find an appointment within a week (sometimes you can find next day) shouldn't be a problem by August

+US Bank Altitude, rumored UBS, and BofA card supposedly all have GE credit.

Surprisingly the line for non-TSA precheck at airport is still ridiculously long...

Basically. Some people do before they close the card. I personally would rather give it away to a family member or friend, then selling it for $10-$15.

Yup, I've personally bought 20+ here for friends and family.
I guess its up to you to decide if its worth it for you, like a few people mentioned they'd rather give it away to someone then sell it for $15
