why would you need a code. The seller gives his cc. If it works great. If not file a claim with PayPal

You pay someone via Chase QP. They give you a credit card number with no name or address. Then I spent a few hours completing the application, and it turns out the card is bogus or as they put it, they're having issues with the card. While they did refund the money, I won't get my time back, and I won't do this in the fraudulent method they're suggesting, so I'm now out an additional $85 paying full price. Some people are just crooks....

I would pay anything before it goes through. The cardholder can always contest the charge as fraud if they don't get paid.
Also, I think if you complain to a mod they would ban the guy.
