A)  TSA Pre✓® cost $85
Global Entry will also give you TSA Pre✓® and cost $100
TSA Pre-check is for going on the quick TSA screening line at airports in the USA. On US airlines with a few exceptions. Whether you're flying domestic or international. 
GE is to cut the immigration lines coming back home - at select airports.


B) Global Entry -  Everyone must have their own, even children.
TSA Pre✓® - Family members ages 12 and under traveling with an eligible parent or guardian with a TSA Pre✓® indicator on their boarding pass can participate in expedited screening. (Family members 13 and older must go through standard security lanes or should apply for a DHS trusted traveler program.)

For anyone contemplating whether Global Entry is worth it.. I recently went through it and not having to take off my shoes is worth it.

Very interesting how they created the inconvenience and made a service to bypass it.
