Last night the wind was howling really loudly in my appartment, was thinking if I should crack an apocalypsical joke to my wife, decided against. But anyway back on topic: Reporting alive from Crown Heights.

This is so stupid, the Mayans are long gone, why do we care about their calendar anyway...

We care?

Not we as in DDFers or Jews, why does anyone care? Why does this topic or the articles it links to even exist?

Apparently the Mayans weren't able to predict their own impending extinction by European disease, but we should trust what they say about the end of the world.  :D

the best part of it is that the calendar doesnt actually end. it is just the end of some sort of cycle. i forgot what it would be like by us. maybe century or decade etc.

Probably more like the 28 year cycle of Birkas Hachamah.

If it could happen to them it could happen to us!  :P
If you don't care why would you comment?

Yup, it isn't even the actual end of their calendar, just the end of a cycle. Total hyperbole.

Conspiracy...

If it could happen to them it could happen to us!  :P

But that would have nothing to do with them or their calendar.
