The talk has been going on way before election day.
Won't be any talks before tomorrow. The entire country hinges on a single seat. If Bibbi has 61, he will for sure be PM. If it goes down to 60, he need to shore up support from another party or its a stalemate.

It now looks like:
Likud/Beyteinu = 33
Lapid = 18
Benet = 11
Labor = 16
UTJ = 7
Kadima = 0

It's now, with 50% of vote counted:

UTJ =  8
Michael Ben Ari = 0
Lapid back to 19
Livni = 7

No way that Bibi forms such a weak government. He'd be asking for elections come next year.

Remember that the live results mean very little because they could be counting entire cities such as Tel Aviv while not including any of Gush Etzion

Obviously, but he can take a few from Labor or even Lapid later on. When it comes to negotiation it makes a world of a difference if he needs Lapid or not.

He doesn't need Lapid but he seems more than willing to include him in the coalition and perhaps make him Foreign Minister to make up for the mistake that was Lieberman.

Wouldn't shock me to see Likud/Yesh Atid/Shas/Livni considering Deri is such close friends with Bibi and Co.

Only question is how to get rid of Eli Yishai without him bringing down Shas in the process. If he wasn't at its helm they would have been +2-4 mandates

Hard for me to see Shas being part of a military-drafting government. If they would be, might as well give Lapid/Yachimovich rotating PM and make a narrow coalition w Livni & Meretz. Deri was always a Lefty anyway.

What's gonna be with the Yeshiva exemption on the draft? This election was bad news.

Same as usual. There will be a lot of rhetoric but nothing will actually happen

The status quo has already changed - all bochrim now undergo registration and medical tests at drafting centers. There's no official exemption and there's a supreme court case about the legality of government funding in such situation.

Well if kfar chabad voted over 50% Utzma Lyisrael, it doesn't sound like they are worried about being drafted...
