Storm just made landfall near Jersey shore with wind gusts of over 90 mph!
Tachles is something happening in Brooklyn?
Storm hasn't hit yet, but the winds are furious..  One of my windows were blown out!
Anyone knows when this is officially peaking?
Supposed to be peaking FWIU during the evening and subsiding tomorrow.

51 street between 11 Ave  and 12 Ave in borough park electric outage!
Wires fell down.
So you mean BP still has overground electric wires?!  I was under the impression that most of nyc's grid is underground..

nope most of bp/ flatbush is overground. i think it is better to have overground now, since con ed said that they are turning off a lot of their underground locations ie lower manhattan and brighton beach. if you have overground you'll prob be on for longer than underground!!!

it'll def prevent the broken glass, although probably won't stop the window from breaking

Nahh, didn't Fisher put new windows in all of his buildings over the past few years (courtesy of uncle sam's Weatherization program)?

Brooklyn, Manhattan, Williamsburg, Quessnborough, Verrazano, Triborough bridges, FDR drive, west side highway just closed!

Only way into manhattan is via the Midtown Tunnel.
Only way into NJ via Lincoln Tunnel.

Quote from The NYTimes:
"Felquin Piedra, 38, rode his
Jet Ski from Queens to Lower
Manhattan.
"I love the waves," Mr. Piedra yelled
from New York Harbor. "The water is warm. I've jumped in several times."
