When they take away liquids, they usually pile them up somewhere. I once spotted a large bin of liquids at security in EWR...Asked the TSO why it was safe for them to have them there so close by if if they were all potentially dangerous. He was none too pleased with me.

The best was in BKK they didn't like our peanut butter or jelly. But they told my wife she can make a few sandwiches with em. So she went to the side where they told her to go, made a couple sandwiches, put them back in her bag, and we brought 'em with to have for the rest of our RTW.

it's like when they tell you that your carry on weighs too much so you take things out and when you get your ticket and walk away you stick them back in....what do they think you are going to do?

the security people sometimes are a bunch of idiots.

Flying through DEN I had a container of Guacamole (avocado dip). They told me that I couldn't bring it through because it wasn't solid. Had it been frozen then it wouldn't be a problem! A goiyishe kop! Gei Farshein!

In Australia you can now carry liquids, no need to remove shoes any more.

re; deodorants. buy the travel (mini) sizes.
