fine prints states : welcome bonus offer not available to applicants who have had this product within the last 12 months...

"had this product within the last 12 month..." does this mean that i received the welcome bonus within the last 12 months or it means i will not get the welcome bonus if i had such a credit card within the last 12 months...?

please advise

My platinum was enforced. I was not only waste the spend, I also paid $198.50 on the membership fee.

You guys think the Gold PRG and Platinum are considered the same product? I applied for both the same time and its the first time I applied for amex cards

not only the personal platinum is the same, but rather my dad just got denied the credit for Mercedes Benz Plat for having the personal gold before. so it appears that even the MB plat is not safe any longer. Although, i applied for 3 people that same day as my dad. everyone had the premier rewards gold, and everyone got the points for the MB plat, only my dad didn't. so it might not be an uniform denial.

I guess YMMV. the applications i submitted were on Sep 4.

obviously your guess IS NOT CORRECT (no need to be a smarty pants). no calls have been made to amex as i dont see a point. i already know what the answer is going to be.

As i said, i did 4 churns that day and the spend was met right as soon as the cards arrived (which was 2 days after application). all 3 other card holders received the 50k bonus points within a week or 2 after spending was done. my dad didn't. one doesn't need to be a genius to connect the dots.

1 point that i neglected to mention is that as part of the churn i also applied for PRG cards for everyone. and although the $2k spend has been met, no points for anyone yet. it took longer to meet the psends for the PRG cards, but doubt the point will be credited...

July 24, 2011.

he opened biz gold, personal PRG, and Delta Gold cards. All 3 were closed around Aug / Sep 2012.

I got PRG points in July and October.
To clarify: By "I" that means myself personally, not 4 people who's SSNs I manage.
