New Amex Bonus Terms

MB requires only not having MB PLat in last year.

in the t&c's it states "This offer is not valid for existing Platinum Card members from American Express."   as well.

anyway, regardless of what it seems from the "this product" line, if amex decides they don't wanna give it to you because you're a churner (yes, this is happening), you can break your head against a wall, and it's almost impossible to get them to give it.    and as soon as it's sent off to the "concerned" department, then you can really forget about it.        hence my calling it "questionable".

the smart play would be to write a secure message before applying confirming with someone that "this" product only excludes the mb plat.  then already theres a chance of dealing with them.

six months ago I called and a rep told me the same, I got the bonus on MB a few weeks after reg plat was closed.

Search for emails from AmericanExpress@welcome.aexp.com and containing the words "Your Card Cancellation has been processed"

I made a gmail label based on that so I can track my 12 months.

Why? According to T&C hes in the clear.I was in the same boat for both and got them. Assuming you didn't have the MB in last year (I believe terms state "this card" to the exclusion of even other platinum cards), or another MR personal card in last 90 days you should be good.For BGR, as long as you didn't have any other biz MR in last year you should be good as well.

why? the terms only state "Welcome bonus offer not available to applicants who have had this product within the last 12 months"

signed my bro up for the creditcards.com plat 100k offer in back in january, but they didnt want 2 give him the points cause he has a zync, after a mil phone calls the past 2 months decided 2 try sm'ing, was successful on the 3rd try.

Hi, I applied for this card about 4 months ago when there was an opening promotion for 100,000 membership rewards points.
I applied with that promo and met all requirements but never received the points.
At the time of the application I was promised by the representative that I would receive the bonus, and then again 2 months later when I called in I was told that I met all conditions but would have 2 wait another few weeks for it to post. (I believe you can verify all this as you record all phone calls) 
Now they're telling me that because I have the zync card I would not received it (nobody ever told me anything like this before)
This is totally unfair as I was promised I would receive it, and as a long time loyal Amex cardholder I would expect better then this.
Can you please solve this issue for me,
