I closed a Delta Business card on 9/8/13 and then reapplied for it on 9/8/14.

When I didn't get the bonus, I called Amex and was informed that their "12 month" rule is not "calendar months" (go figure) but rather they consider the month you closed the card to not be one of the 12 months, and I would only be eligible for the bonus if I applied 10/1/14 or later...

Does this make sense? Where was this calculation described in their T&C?

I will try, but I am not confident it will help. The (friendly) woman I was speaking with spoke directly with the marketing department and put me on hold for a long time. She came back and said that she made every argument to them that I made to her, and it was to no avail.

last time when i had and argument with amex about a bonus a rep send my request for a review though thy dont like doing it and it took me some huca to get the right rep

Is the Blue Cash Preferred bonus (1 year Amazon + $100) once per lifetime or once every 12 months? I had the card in the past and closed it Jan. 2014. If I apply in Feb 2015 (after 12 months) can I still get the bonus?

Consumer cards are once per lifetime.

Is the 90 day rule still around? Meaning, I have now the BGR, can I apply for the Platinum card now or the BGR has to be closed for 90 days before I apply?

Don't the terms of the offer specify 90 or 12 months, and this card or product?

it has the 12 month rule. But i see nothing about 90 days.

The 90 day rule is from the day off app or 90you days of having an open card?

I've heard a rumor, (unconfirmed personally), that you can't do any business card within 12 months of another, even plat to gold and vice versa. unconfirmed.
(Not too many people are gonna know if this is true bec most ppl 2bm gold and plat.)

What if I HAD the brg can I get the business platinum card? I am getting mixed reports, anyone with experience?
