Yes. last night. Expected back by 10:PM tonight. Kid's girls camp cancelled.

At least across the street there is power, so we can charge our phones.

But I invited myself over to neighbors, as we can't run the air conditioner on it.

Need to wonder how the Amish do it! I know, I myself grew up without AC, and have fond memories of shlepping out this YUUUUGE heavy  AC to put in our dining room window. Twas a family project, must have weighed a ton. Usually a week or two before tisha bav.

The good news is that I got a callback from the power company, that my service has been restored.
The bad news is, it hasn't.

In truth the call said something like, we just completed repairs that may/should have restored your service. Press 1 if restored, press 2 if not.

.About 4,000 customers, mostly in Cleveland Heights, still without power from Tuesday's storms | cleveland.com

According to the National Weather Service, the microburst that hit Cleveland Heights, generated 80 mph winds. But was probably 100 degrees warmer than
