Accidents, leases, and Insurance
« on: August 18, 2020, 10:28:23 AM »
A bit ago my wife's car got into a fight with a fence. The fence won and caused a small dent and some other scrapes on the car. More recently, the car got into an accident, 100% the other persons fault. She was hit in about the same place  as some of the scrapes, but not others. The car is on a lease that is about to end, so we need to get it fixed before returning it.

Should i not say anything about the previous damage? Tell the mechanic about the earlier incident?

How do i deal with insurance?

Smart move to blame the car and not the wife!
