Fly to Israel
« on: May 03, 2010, 11:09:48 PM »
I would like to fly to Israel, with my wife and baby before he turns two in June.
I have about 90,000 Starwood points, 165000 Delta Miles and 44000 US air miles.
What would be the best thin for me to do? Thanks

I also should be getting 50,000 Amex points from the new Card I just received, and spent 1000 at the US mint.

Do you have specific dates?
Have you called Delta to check for Skyteam availability?
Save your time, I don't answer PM. Post it in the forum and a dedicated DDF'er will get back to you as soon as possible.

If I'm not mistaken, you baby would need to be still 1 before departure of the return flight.

Yes, I would like to fly June 18 and return June 27.
I did not call Delta as of yet. Can I use my SPG points for Delta?
My son will turn two before we return. Would it make sense to get him a one-way ticket?  I did talk to someone a while back he said he was able to get by with his baby, with out buying a ticket although he turned two before they came back, is it worth taking a chance?

Thanks Dan.

I checked with delta and they have availability. For two tickets 260,000 miles.
Does anyone have experience with transferring Spg points to Delta? I want to transfer my wife’s Spg points to my delta account, apparently the name on the Delta account has to be the same as on the Spg account. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

If you have your own SPG account (on the same address) then call up SPG and transfer the points from your wifes SPG account into your SPG account and then you can transfer them to your delta account. If you dont then open one up :-)

Is this for coach or biz class?
