Dan, I lovingly accept the mussar! That said, I had a NIGHTMARE w/ the property that took 2 months to resolve...even after a call to the front desk...so while PUTPAC might be the answer, with this property one needs Senior managers from SPG Corp HQ to resolve any issues IME...

call them and say you have a vacation booked and its not fair that they are cancelling you... when sheraton tiveria left starwood i got 10k or 15k for my stay that they cancelled.
I had a reservation at the dead sea just in case they did this but it was for 12/31/11 -1/1/12

A Rep mentioned ot me that they had a bad relationship with the Le Meridian, but didnt say they were actually dropping them yet, has this been confirmed???
