It seems the one at the dead sea used to be called leonardo plaza?? I guess they finally figured out that there is no point in having 5 hotels in the same place all called leonardo ::)

It is in the same area, if that helps, looks similar, but slightly older from the outside, though I never made it past the lobby in the Crowne Plaze, I statyed with Starwood points at Le Meridian...

You can eat fleishigs in one of the Hotels, maybe the (Le Meredien) David. Although check the hechsher first, i believe it is Rabbanut.

cafe cafe in the mall
When we ate there in November it was awful, my wife and I both did not finish our meals. Service was bored with too much time and not enough clients. Yet still managed to ignore us.

I don't remember it being so bad previous times.

I ate there in 2011, food and milkshake was really good and nice view of dead sea from there.

you mean 3000 points. I think so the room was ok. My wife enjoyed the stay. The mashgiach Avi was very helpful with the different hechsherim. The Head chef was a little nasty.
