In response to my question about an alternative lodging and near the Dead Sea, we stayed in the Masada youth hostel which was a half minute walk to the Masada snakepath traihead- which was ideal for our pre-dawn trek up to the summit! The completely private family room was very clean with a freezer fridge, private bathroom and shower.  The pool was beautiful too! We highly recommend it for its  location to where we wanted to be.

I would speak to the Mashgiach and he will tell you what item has what Hecsher and you can decide what is good for you. Very hard finding a good hecsher in my opinion in that area.

You float in it.  It is a wild experience especially when it is cold or dark outside....

yup, and its cleaner and easier to access, go from your room in your robe, dip in, float around, wash off and go back to your room. u can get normal pools anywhere, this is a special thing people come from all over the world for...
