Ok awesome, thanks for the info!

When are you going down there? We'll be there before Pesach

Well it seems someone reserved all the weekends for the rest of March and some of April >:(
SO, unless someone cancels a reservation for the 16-18 of March I guess I am not going....

I moved the tv as far back as it would go, and that plus the little shelf thing gave me more than enough room.

1. A connecting room would be great, but a floor up floor down is not that difficult, except if were talking about a disabled or elderly people.
2. I personally love the smell of chulent, but through the night in my bedroom. Emm rather not.

I think the hot plate is the best option. Its better than paying full price for the meal and then not get to eat half of it because it is not all Mehadrin..

I have never been to Israel except on birthright several years ago.  I am wondering if in general (and at this hotel in particular), does the $20 bill sandwich trick (eighty shek? lol) help to get a better room?

The hotel is ok with hot plates and cooking food? What about your room neighbors?

The guys at the desk are always the same over there (man with the glasses and two women...) dont look like it would work with them.

Wanna book LMDS around August, but can't book now since I don't have made up exact date. How much SPG points should I put in reserve? (1 night)
