I've been to the separate beach, never heard of it costing any money at all..

Though I recommend not to waste your time on the separate beach, its tiny and with nowhere to dress etc..

Your better off just going to a secluded area.

Here is a photo of the separate beach which i took a yr and a hf ago.

They completly redid the separate beach at yam hamelach, they have indoor showers and toilets, and a dressing room, and a nice wheelchair ramp straight into the yam.. as well as a walkway, and new beach sand....................... outside showers as well

I have a last minute trip to the Dead Sea with no reservations at the Le Meridian, they don't show anything available for this week, I wanna stay there from Monday to Thursday, anyone with a reservation that doesn't need it? Will repay with SPG points.

How were you able to do it did you need to put like 9 days and then call up to cancel?

no..sometimes there is availability, somtimes not...really just hit and miss..try calling spg and tell them the problem...alternatively - take my word - call the hotel manager and ask him to open a room.

Availability is not controlled. If there is a standard room available for sale, it is available for redemption. Standard rooms will be available for sale as long as they aren't sold out.

Availability is not controlled. If there is a standard room available for sale, it is available for redemption. Standard rooms will be available for sale as long as they aren't sold out.
The LM Dead Sea never has the standard room they offer for points available for lowest rate. They only offer it at RACK. That's how they are able to circumvent that clause

I don't know...
I want to use points, I can stay at the crown plaza for 50.000 PC points (2 nights)  but from the reviews it sounds like its a dump
I don't have 80,000 Hhonors points for Queen of Sheba (2 nights)

If they don't have availability I will prob just go elsewhere that weekend.

To buy outright: 25,000 pc = $312
However they are running a 40% bonus promo which would cost $225 for 18,000 points + 7,200 bonus

That is if you buy them outright, in the past I have been a couple thousand points short on a booking and they topped me off (38,xxx+ for a 40,000 room, however I just tried that with 32,xxx+ for the same 40,000 room and they wouldn't let me)

(On a side note, this price values platinum status @ $494.50)
