NYC marathon this Sunday

anyone traveling on sunday give yourself extra time - between the marathon and tunnels closed traffic signals out etc..

bloomberg says the economy needs it to many ppl here because of it so he cant cancel. any clue which highways will be blocked? when? alt routes? if you need to get to newark airport from brooklyn - verz br closed if you go through nyc tunnels closed etc...

Perhaps part of the route should be substituted with a special relay race up residential towers in Manhattan carrying water, batteries and canned goods. There are elderly people that are trapped 50 stories up without power or water.
