Best way to get Skymiles

I need 40,000 skymiles x 2 for a ticket.
I have 2 accounts with 10,000 skymiles and 1 with 25,000 (3 diffrent people)
Have 60,000 UR points and about 19,000 SPG. (also have BA points if they can be transfered)
Is there anything I am able to do? (Its not worth it if i have to pay cash for mileage)

Find someone who will swap with you, UR for Amex. Since UR is worth more than Amex, you should be able to find someone... You're looking for a total of 80k?

How many Delta skymiles does it normally take to get from LA to NY (roundtrip) economy class?
