Sorta like regular Far Rockaway but you need to drive through the hood to get there.

Nobody lives near the subway. And most people take the lirr to the city, which is in a very good area.

If you want to go to Brooklyn you take the Subway. Or drive... But point being he said Bayswater is different than far Rockaway because you have to drive through the hood to get there, I'm saying the hood is practically right there, and it stretches to beach 12th.

Cheaper houses in FR look weird and are on the border. Anything nice there you're paying similar prices to Brooklyn...

I wouldn't go that far. But I agree that it's no longer a cheap option.

Yes. But the other 0.5 is actually pretty nice.

And there's no way to Bayswater without going through the hood.

If you live in "nice" Far Rockaway you can avoid ever being in the hood.

Although I was once on a porch of a house on Neilson St and felt like I was on the set of Boyz in the Hood...

We can talk about that. Looking for a modern orthodox community, but not the likes of Efrat or Chashmonaim. I guess more MO "Machmir" as they call it. In my time in Israel, I didn't find any communities like that, while they exist in several places in America.
