There's nba basketball well into June.
And affordable baseball games in a great ballpark.

Never cared about any of those.
I've been waiting over 5 years with bated breath for someone to say that!

prob 5 years plus his birthdate which would equal 2022. Got my GE card over a year ago -- it's good until my birthdate in 2020. So, it's 5+ years.

TSA-PreCheck is less. Will need to renew. YMMV.

Why would anyone go for precheck when it's the same net cost as GE ???

we get them both together for free with the Amex plat $100 rebate. (It's just that GE last 5 yrs and TSA-Pre is less. I need to confirm if it's 2 or 3 yrs. Anyone know?)

I got my Nexus at a time I was going to YYZ a couple of times a year and didn't know yet about DDF and GE fee reimbursements through CC. I found it to be a decent deal as it is half the price of GE, yet it includes GE + Nexus to cut lines entering Canada (worthwhile for anyone going there). I was thinking about getting it for all my kids under 18 (it's free under 18) if we go to visit someone in camp. However, 2 downsides of Nexus are that it takes forever for INITIAL approval (before you can book your interview), and interviews are done only in Canada or in US locations close to Canadian border.

Until you realize that you spent 80 years living to get to the next moment rather than taking a step back and enjoying the moment.

YET

I spent a day running around SFO with Rafi and the best moment was us just sitting down at the end of it at Battery Spencer and just taking in the grand view of the GG bridge and serenity of the scene. I almost teared up :)

My best moments are often walking into a place of learning and getting into it. You should try it. It is a true עיר מקלט.

I am not putting down the appreciation for נפלאות הבורא, but one can find peaceful moments everywhere, and even "take in the grand view" of the aibershter's world sitting in front of a Gemara, a Siddur or a Maamar Chassidus!

That being said, I have a choice of 3 boys schools and 3 girls schools that offer education from preschool through high school/mesivta, all within walking distance, and all of them celebrate what we call ״חסידישע ימים טובים״, and a couple of other schools that only offer certain grades. I don't think I can find any community that comes close in terms of educational choices for me (other than E.Y. and possibly Paris and London).
Sounds like you're in the right place then.

Move to CLE, where you can build a snowman in the middle of May!!!
Freak snowstorm, already melted and going to be in 60/70s all week.
We didn't have a winter or major snowstorm all winter, so I'm not complaining.

And have nowhere to go and nothing to do once that is done?
Actually there's more to do indoors here than almost anywhere.

And for inventing traffic lights, airplanes, superman...There are no ads in the NYC airports?

I enjoy learning just as much, doesn't mean it's going to create the same memories.

Don't move to SEA. The centurion club (or whatever it's called) sucks.

And for inventing traffic lights..

Aha... So now we know which city is the culprit in creating the precursor to red light cameras!  ;D

Maybe we should send all these people from Florida to Cleveland for the summer
Um..Summer didnt start yet in CLE. My daughters plane needed to go to the de-icer this morning before takoff!
Actually in the city of Cleaveland they are illegal now. Good for visitors, but for the natives who know where they are, it stinks. Now you need to worry about cops again.

That's why we were smart enough to ban traffic cameras.

Well, I guess that's an advantage of not living on the coasts. Don't have to put up as much with the "liberal"/"progressive"/tax and spend state governments.
