I live in Denver and the community is growing like crazy.  I live in the Modern Orthodox neighborhood and my kids go to the Yeshivish school and all parts of the community are growing.  Most people are moving here for jobs.  The housing prices are actually not SO cheap anymore (still WAY cheaper than NY or LA) but more expensive than communities in the Midwest.
What?? I thought you lived on the West Side!

Be careful what you wish for. A large influx may change the character of CLE

Will my wishes either way change the outcome?

So what's the deal with tuition there? The city subsidizes most of it? If it should be 6k it gets knocked down to 2k etc?

My sons school welcomed 137 new FAMILIES this year. And there are several schools with similar clientele in the area.

Complicated. I think it ranges from full tuition minus vouchers is about $5k per kid, to totally free besides for fees of about $350 per kid and a $1000 give and get per family. Your example sounds like a middle income family making between 200% and 400% of poverty guidelines.

How many classes per grade in that school?

Currently 4, though they made pre-school 5 per grade and will probably be 5 or 6 once they build their 4th building and have the space.

So adding 68 families, with preschool/pre1a having (im assuming 80-100) students, is not much. Id assume many of those new families are from their first child going to school, but could have been thier awhile. Plus kids switch schools sometimes. So how many of those new families are families that just moved into CLE?

There are 1,077 students this year compared to last year's record 970. And would have more if they had space for more.
The other 2 frum schools are also at record levels.

Gotta say, this is a weird argument.

A 4BR split level in Beachwood that would have stayed on the market for months before selling for $250K a few years ago stayed on the market for 12 hours and had 10 showings and sold that day above asking price at $410K.

If you walk into any shul here you'll see them filled to the brim with new families. Though back in the day Chabad and many "center/mainstream" families went to HAC, it seems like a lot of them are going with Mizrachi these days and their growth has been explosive from what I hear.

Both of my kids are now in HAC, though among the Chabad community a majority now to go Mizrachi compared to none back in my day.
