Uber in most big/high COL cities is higher than the rest of the country. NJ rates are similar to OH.
That's the beauty of LA: Uber's rates are among the cheapest in the country and it's a big city.

But you do have occasional big surges. Same w s Florida. Overall it's pretty cheap, though.

I've never paid surge pricing in LA. Set an alert and within 10 minutes it usually goes away.

This. Also, Lyft is cheaper than Uber in LA.

Let's leave the racism to the NY'ers :P

Anyway minorities have double the infant mortality in Cleveland it seems, but 1 that's probably true everywhere and 2 that still wouldn't account for Cleveland being double the national average. Unless you're saying Cleveland has a much higher concentration of minorities that any other city.

Anyway yes I'm sure Beachwood is fine. Just makes you think when the doctor has to run special blood tests becaise the area you live has very high risks of lead poisoning and other problems.

No. The white rate is in line with national averages.
The black rate is way higher, about 2.7x the white rate. Maybe they use more drugs here or maybe the services are worse in broke communities like East Cleveland that are 99% minority.

So what's the מסקנא? Is this a pro or a con for where you live?
I've been waiting over 5 years with bated breath for someone to say that!

CLE is 4 minutes
NYC is 16 minutes.

That's a huge jump. Both 4X more of your money spent and 4X more of your TIME spent. What a waste!   8)
Should I bother pointing out (a couple of weeks late) that the trip summary was read incorrectly?
Who do you think you are fooling? You think you are going to pull a quick one on your Creator? Good luck with that.

I think some posts should be deleted here. It sounds like advocating genocide...

East Cleveland has heavy losses, blots out the name of the city on the map. Beachwood/Pepper Pike has almost none:

Do you have the white nationwide stats?

I get that it's a joke and Dan's reply is even more of a joke, but it doesn't look good and we're not the only ones reading this. It is funny, though.
