Nothing changed.

My kids schools give excellent chinuch, and there's definitely a much greater choice.

770 isn't moving anywhere.

While we've been light on guests for the past few months, they will be back.

Everything is within walking distance for me.

Bottom line is there are shuls and yeshivos that survived and evolved through multiple city and neighborhood moves. Think of all the old Jewish neighborhoods. South &west side of Chicago. East New York, Brownsville, etc. I'm sure every city has a story. Many mosdos survive these moves while many others do not.

Very well but just as the current Kaminetz bears little relation to the yeshiva under R Baruch Ber a yeshiva which is now in Lakewood is not the same as its predecessor in Brooklyn. Therefore that remains a reason for staying where one is if they prefer that school.
