I skimmed through it now to find anything relevant to the CURRENT discussion, and am trying to understand: are we trying to say 24 minutes after Shkia Amitis? Wouldn't that just add 1.5 degrees to whatever we figured out previously, making all of the options on Chabad.org inaccurate?

SBL seems to campaign for a universal 6.833 degree zman to be used in Chabad. I can't say that I am convinced by his argument. As far as I can recall he wasn't saying that 20 years ago and was davening maariv with minyanim around 5.9 degrees after Shkia (a Palm app was popular back then and one could enter any degrees they wanted).
