Yep, my wife already got a full class worth of phone calls for her playgroup for next year, she told everyone to reach out to her after Chanukah, it's really crazy

my wife looked for a morah for my 2 yr old son "older 2s" for sept 2022, started looking abt a week after sukkos 2021. (the first week after sukkos she spent finding a spot for my 4 yr old, cause she thought that was harder so she focused on that one first) she called over 50 morahs. eventually kept a excel sheet of morahs to know who to call back etc....nothing doing.....its nuts

From what I see all schools are experiencing difficulties hiring teaching staff. This is a COVID-19 fallout IMHO and will eventually show up in the inflation numbers. Teaching isn't easy and just out of seminary girls aren't willing to do it for $17/hr starting salary, and it goes up the chain. This is a huge crisis.
