Correct, as the vouchers are only for people who have kids entering K or are moving from out of state. So existing families are taking the profit on their UH homes and upgrading to Beachwood.
I guess this is why?

Yup, we sold our home after owning it for 6 years to a family from LA and made a 37% profit. Could have gotten more probably if we tested the open market, but we knew the family and it was easier than listing the home to get a bit more.

I thought that they would pick UH for the vouchers, but they decided on Beachwood in the end.
Let me know when you wanna sell your next house below market value

Lol, moving to CLE too ;D

If I needed to hire a realtor than that would have cost more more anyway.

It is ridiculous seeing people on FB talking about moving to CLE for free tuition.
It's not going to be free unless you make under 2x federal poverty.

Power out again @Dan . This would definitely not happen in Beachwood...

Only have 80m left on my UPS (currently charging my laptop, phone, running desklamp, and hotspot from phone).

Bc you got 3-4 inches. I got 8-10 and 24 a few miles away. And loads of trees fell down. Power will be out until tomorrow per township.

Doesn't matter how high the snow gets. I don’t recall losing power since the blackout of ‘04.

Me neither - and before then. It does matter though. Trees were damp and weak from the wind rain and ice over the weekend. An addition 8-10 inches of heavy/wet snow, much of which stuck to branches, brought down loads of trees in the area. And they damaged power infrastructure.

I thoguth that's what the forecast was for. Might turn to snow for the end and you may get several inches out of it, but the bulk will be rain.

It's snowing north of Washington St. Must be warmer on the south end of Brighton.

Huge branch came down a foot from my head as I was shoveling. Pretty scary

Most places in NYC have underground electric which is generally more reliable.

I do want to point out that the 2003 blackout was caused by Ohio....
