The city hanst been able to generate any new revenue streams to cover its liberal "big government" agenda and the $800 Million the Mayor's wife absconded with through her Thrive NYC farce. So they have resorted to fines and speed cameras to cover the shortfalls. The rules of evidence or any other recognized legal precepts do not apply in any administrative hearings so the city gets away with proving its cases to Administrative Law Judges who are on the city payroll. Seems like the DOB lawyers valued their law licenses more than what their jobs were worth to them. Disgraceful.

Why is there no shul in Tom's river?
And I dont mean a garage shabbos only minyan.
Unless there is...

What planet are you on? There's at least 5 shuls that I know in Tom's River that have daily minyan.

You probably mean a minyan factory which in that case there is none.

With regards to making a standalone shul, I would give it 12-24 months before zoning laws are changed.

Still very affordable, nice Jewish (Shuls and schools) infrastructure but very OOT feel, I don’t even think has a restaurant, just a very extensive kosher takeout in a grocery store.  NYers that want more of their in-town amenities may want to just keep on going down to FL but I think Atlanta is growing and very affordable (unlike Denver).  I was just talking to a friend who moved to Denver from Houston and she said after the flooding when a lot of frum people just gave up on Houston, a number of people moved to Atlanta from there.

1. I love the schools 2. I love how Chicago has so many chesed organizations 3. People are generally nice to each other 4. Neighbors know each other and get together 5. We have restaurants to go to if you don't want to cook 6. Our community has a wide range of orthodox Jews that all get along.
