Nu, so make a post of the Pros and Cons for NYC from your standpoint.
It would be
Pros:
Convenience
Cons:
Everything else  :D
It's not about the quantity of your posts.  It's about the quality.

Which part is convenient?
The traffic? The tickets? The noise? The lack of parking? The crime? Expensive housing? Alternate side?

I dont know Cleveland but the fact you can roll out of bed and have practically anything you need from any store is pretty convenient. (Not sure if the OP was referring to that aspect)

I hear that.  I live in the midwest. Every once in a while I think it would be nice to have  a makolet just outside my door. :)
But a hustle and bustle of stores? I'll pass. And stores are just a 2 minute car ride away.

After getting today a $115 parking ticket, just for dropping something off by my in-laws (took around 60 seconds), I'm considering....
Love me or hate me. I still love you.

My point exactly.
NYC and LA cops are just terrible with their tickets.

Which part is convenient?

For example:
restaurants delivering for free at 1am has come in handy many many times.
Being able to walk around the corner to a kosher grocery.
Sending your grocery / fruit and vegetable list to the store and have them deliver it. (do they do that in CLE? I've heard it's a NY thing)
Having minyonim available anytime of the day and night. (Or for that matter having a mincha minyan at the office/store next door)
(You're gonna love this one Dan :) ) Having people who help you (i.e. make it very convenient to) sign up for with food stamps, medicaid etc etc :)

That's off the top of my head.
Obviously there many inconveniences and negatives to living in NYC, but it's not all bad, there are some conveniences.

Dan he put down the biggest con. It is full of people that want to live off others instead of be responsible for their own well being.
Apparently also now you have to show proof of food stamps / wic or medicaid to get any break on tuition.

How about this:

Pros:
It's only a seven hour drive (or 4.5k Avios) from CLE.

Cons:
Everything else.

:)) :))

(I'll try to write up something a bit more serious later on.)

As a native Clevelander who moved back, I feel the ONLY "con" is that it's hard to find a job if you are not some sort of professional (or are going to join one of the 4+ kollelim ;)).  While I am not discontinuing the entrepreneur spirit of my fellow C-Towners, we are just not as big as other cities. In NY you can open a business renting folding chairs for simchas and make some sort of living! That being said I would not live anywhere else!

4+? I thought it was 7+ BH!

So, as an ex-New Yorker

Pros:
-Huge frum community
-Kosher stores, restaurants etc.. all over the place
-Communities, Shuls & Schools to fit any Hashkafa
-Pomegranate
-Basil (Best Kosher Dairy place in the US in my opinion)
-mass transit system
-Lots of activities / attractions

Cons;
-High crime Neighborhoods
-traffic
-parking & alternate side parking
-Tickets are part of the annual if not monthly budget
-High cost of living
-Tuition
-The Corruptness (including the requirements by some Jewish Agencies to be a registered voter to                            receive assistance, and oh btw if you registered republican don't bother applying for assistance with us)
-People are rude, you don't know your neighbors, etc...
-the need to "keep up with the Jones"
-high taxes
-Cold weather, black snow in the winter. Humidity in the summer

Sorry to all you New Yorkers for knocking your city, I did wait to see if a current New Yorker would write this first ;-)

Sushi at 1 AM? No biggie. Maariv at 2 AM? You got it. Shachris at 3 PM? Can usually get that too. :P
