My wife got offered a job. It's a big community but definitely an out of town one. The main community (Bathurst and Lawrence) happens to be very gashmi and five Townsy but we won't be living there
Originally we were planning to go to ORD but this fell into our laps
Toronto is mini NY. Still  the same schools as the NYorker wannabes . I have found LA to at least nit have the wanna be NYorker problem.

But kudos for getting out of Brooklyn

More than Thornhill?
Definitely. You feel like you can't go out to dinner without getting dressed up down South. Thornhill is much more chilled out

Don't live in Brooklyn. And I don't think that's true

But my wife was not excited about CLE.
Should've took me up on my offer earlier in this thread :)

Sorry I thought you wrote that. Like everything about LA it's a generalization. But based on truth

My clunker  draws much more attention then theirs. Never saw anyone blink when they passed. By me even before I actually could be seen  people are looking  :)

Fair enough. But my wife was not excited about CLE. I would have loved Houston but it is way too hot. Not much other choices
That was the only thing that bothered you about Houston? What did you hear about the schools?

Really ought to be simple if I were running the school. Drive an Acura/BMW/Caddy/Infiniti/Lexus/Mercedes, etc=pay full tuition regardless of what you earn.
right for the most part. but what about the guy who says " i got a deal on my g37x for 250 a month" (there actually was such a deal) then it cost about what a camry cost. u could argue that, even so, if u want to drive a luxury car , u gotta pay up. Some may argue though that if u fly biz/first even with points or a deal, if u want to live that luxury life u gotta pay up. And that is why most schools i know of base tuition scholarships of tax returns, which in ny is pointless bec.  everyone has some off the books income
