Decent size Alexadere community in Beachwood. The Rebbe's brother started his own group/shul in Beachwood. I don't see the problem, mid-westerners are very welcoming.

Toronto has a lot of the components I like in a city. The city is clean with efficient public transportation, a beautiful skyline, very diverse and friendly citizens, and owns lots of waterfront property. That being said, in my long weekend I ran out of things I really wanted to do as a tourist pretty quickly. I had very high expectations given how much I love Montreal and Vancouver, but unfortunately I didn’t find that same magic in Toronto. To be fair it was a holiday weekend so I assume many were out of the city on weekend trips. The city came across livable but not a place I would likely return purely for tourism.
A very accurate description of Toronto:
YYZ is a clean, smaller and boring NYC
agree. However how much of the time do you tour your own city....its a beautiful place to live.
With the high cost of living+traffic but without the restaurants.Cleaner and safer at least.
