Miami Beach North?
Seems to be a community growing there, but there will be a Rebbe too...

Decent size Alexadere community in Beachwood. The Rebbe's brother started his own group/shul in Beachwood. I don't see the problem, mid-westerners are very welcoming.
whats his shul called?

Just wondering.. after having read through the 55+ pages on this thread

For a shtreimel wearing chassidishe young guy like me who's desperate to move out of NYC what are my options besides for lakewood & monsey, i mean Beachwood Ohio sounds awesome but would i really fit in?

ideas welcome!
alexander rebbe recently opened yeshiva to has around 8 chasiddish boys i dont think you would feel out of place everyone is very welcoming also we could use a few more striemels around here

A very accurate description of Toronto:
Quote from: Point Miles and Martinis
Toronto has a lot of the components I like in a city.  The city is clean with efficient public transportation, a beautiful skyline, very diverse and friendly citizens, and owns lots of waterfront property.  That being said, in my long weekend I ran out of things I really wanted to do as a tourist pretty quickly. I had very high expectations given how much I love Montreal and Vancouver, but unfortunately I didn’t find that same magic in Toronto. To be fair it was a holiday weekend so I assume many were out of the city on weekend trips. The city came across livable but not a place I would likely return purely for tourism.

Very accurate.
I can't wait to go back to YUL and YVR.  YYZ not so much.
And that's not only because YUL and YVR has better kosher scenes.

Montreal has the old Town French charm. Vancouver the outdoorsy natural beauty. YYZ is a clean, smaller and boring NYC

With the high cost of living+traffic but without the restaurants.
Cleaner and safer at least.

Things to do with kids are limited. No children's museum. Aquarium is a welcome addition. Although services from community centers are great
