I agree, but I can say I know of at least 10 Chabad Houses in:
Phoenix
Scottsdale
Paradise Valley
Glendale
Fountain Valley
Chandler
Mesa
Tempe
Goodyear
& Gilbert

In addition there is a Kollel and several orthodox shuls in Phoenix and Scottsdale.

New Shluchim coming to Prescott, AZ soon too. Know them quite well.

median for Brooklyn includes areas even less desirable than marine park (east ny, starett city) and even more desirable than boro park (park slope, Williamsburg)

Why it's crazy to live in Toronto:
2 regular slices
Mushroom slice
Tuna panini
Mac n cheese
Spicy fries
4 drinks
Total:$41 and change
Life isn't about checking the boxes. Nobody cares.

It was the spicy in the fries that threw it over the top

Price is not crazy at all;
Panini = $10, Mac n Cheese = $10, Spicy Fries = $ 4.50, 4 drinks = $8, 3 slices pizza = $7. Total = ~$40

Depending on the type of restaurant it can easily be more than that.

+1. I don't think it would be more than 5-6 dollars cheaper elsewhere

Exactly, 25% cheaper. That's pretty significant

And no tax.

Still, I think housing is a bigger deal for most people than pizza.

You are way off. You are paying 850 to 1MM plus in the 20's of flatbush (can't speak to Boropark) or if it is a finished larger house. Overall, for the 30's, lower numbers or Marine Park there is what to be found for $600-$750. Not cheap by any stretch but not 1MM either.

Not really. You said BP and Flatbush. I am pointing out that Flatbush is a big place and its rare for first time home buyers to purchase in the 20's.
