Darnit.

Just realized something. I already switched direct for the way there... Think they'll still be nice?

I know you don't know for sure, but I can't call until tomorrow AM before work and of course I can't stop thinking about this...

Any update?

Thanks for asking.

Soooo... after a lot of debating - I decided to wait until Friday to make any decisions. I figured I'd give it a little bit more time to see if things get back to "normal".

The birth certificate should get here today or tomorrow. *keeping fingers crossed*
I called the information center again and got a MUCH nicer rep.  She assured me that they wouldn't just let me go without my appointment. She said to call back tomorrow  and see if it will open on Tuesday and if not - they would get me an appointment in another facility. She didn't tell me where, but I'm assuming it's CT and that is why they are not taking any new appointments right now.

Anywhosey, if I do have to call ELAL - I'll let you know what happens.

What did you decide on Friday?

The NY Passport Agency re-opened Friday morning and they are keeping all of their regular appointments, so we're good to go for Tomorrow morning.
We don't need the birth certificate anymore because we found the missing passport, however, I got confirmation from UPS that it was delivered this AM.

So, assuming all goes well tomorrow - we're going to Israel! :)
