If you have medicaid (jersey care) and you ever need to travel for an appointment ie birth etc you can call b4 the trip to ask for a ride! they either will pay for your taxi or reimburse the driver fifty cents a mile.

Please stop calling it free.
It's forced charity at best.

This site the land of "free" stuff.
We'r all about taking advantage of some loophole or another. If they are giving we take!
Do I have the wrong philosophy Dan?

Yes.
If you can't differentiate between free stuff that comes willingly out of the marketing budget of a profitable enterprise and "free stuff" that is forced out of the pocket of hardworking citizens of this country to be redistributed to people that may or may not really need it then I can't help you.

Pretty wrong argument.
The entitlement programs and taxes are in effect.
It doesn't matter whether you take advantage of these programs or not.
@dan @myb
Do you think your tax rate will go down if I relinquish myself of the Food Stamps program?
I'm, in theory, against the welfare state, but...
Once these social programs are implemented, there is no point not taking advantage of it. It won't help anyone and you stay a fool.
