I would say, which I was alluding to above, that Without God there is no ethics. So you can decide for yourself but I assume you think you are living your life logically, and I assume you are following Gods word, in that way I think Ethics is logical.

Overpopulation is bad.

Perfectly populated is good.

To get from the former to the latter, a society must keep checks and balances on its population.

Well the point of the original quote was to say that logics and ethics are not always the same. I was debating the use of that as an example.
