I tried out most stuff that are out there and made a lot of research and what I found to work best is, a extension for Chrome, Firefox, and Opera called "ZenMate", it's free, unlimited, and you get 5 countries to choose from.

For those using "Hotspot Shield" for free, there is a Chrome extension "Ad Block" that will remove all ads.

Not sure what one has to do with the other.
However, yes, www.chromeadblock.com is the first and most important extension to install after installing Chrome.

Why not uBlock?

Why not uBlock?
Also good.  I think Adblock has a bigger userbase so things are fixed faster.  uBlock is one guy doing it all on his own, which is OK, but he does complain about being bogged down by other things and not having time to work solely on uBlock.  But I haven't tried it myself to give positive or negative reviews.

Do you use uBlock?  Happy (happier)?

I've switched to uBlock, used it the last couple of hours, love it.
Will post back if anything changes.

The free version of "Hotspot Shield" is full of ads, so adding an extension will block them all out, making it the same as the premium version.

This is why I use ZenMate which is a more standard VPN which hosts it’s own architecture. Their Premium version pays for them being able to host a free version as well. They said they’re about to release a statement as to exactly how they operate on their website.
