« on: November 10, 2012, 09:27:46 PM »
Any one know how to get rid of this annoying popup?  I get this error message in my email, and any site I go to. My computer is a Dell Intel. I have Vista and Explorer 9.

Use Firefox or Google Chrome and/or try repairing IE.

I saw that coming (from the OP). Perhaps the real answer is just FF or GC, and IE really isn't a viable option.

I actually just had someone ask me about an IE problem, I told him I can't remember the last time I  touched it.

Why? I'm no expert in this but it's definitely easier to keep control of everything with IE. There are too many easy ways to play around with say Chrome that could easily go around a firewall. Plus all windows comes with IE pre installed where other browsers need to be downloaded on everyones computer.

thank you all for your advice and comments.  I actually worked on this using advice from Google and humans to fix it  for a long time before I posted...In any case, I switched to Google Chrome and the error message is gone and so is IE!
