can any economy delta flight be booked using chase points (transferred to EDIT: KOREAN?). And how long does transfer take?
Any saver fight can be booked with Korean, round-trip trip required. Instant Xfer.

Probably because chase are too valuable to transfer to flying blue, which you can obtain with amex or citi

Three times (on three different reservations) i've went to book Delta partner award tickets. Everytime I make the purchase, it errors out for some reason. The space is then pulled from the inventory and not ticketed. Delta of course says that someone else booked it before me. This is the third time it happened. So either I have really bad luck, or delta phone reps have no idea waht they're talking about. In any event, they can't book the award because it isn't in inventory (verified on expert flyer). This seems like an IT glitch - any experience?

Here are my top 3 guesses:

1) MU (never trust MU on DL, I've had this way to many times)
2) CZ (probably a blackout date)
3) CI (randomly pops up as an issue)

Ding ding ding - it is/was MU. The space went away - and while I was booking the earlier flight it reappeared on Expert Flyer, DL and FlyingBlue. They were able to book and ticket.

I've had this previously with AZ - twice. It must be a Delta IT glitch

And once had it on SU as well.
Common denominator, delta IT sucks.

Funny, had this exact same thing on DL with MU. They tried calling MU, no luck. I did manage to get it after 2 days.

Side Databpoint. One ticket was booked with cash and because I booked the PVG-JFK flight it ticketed in China time zone and I was able to cancel it with a full day later.

looking at delta calendar view it shows flights till around mid November at that price. maybe delta are upping the mileage requirement for close in bookings on partner airlines ?
