can any economy delta flight be booked using chase points (transferred to EDIT: KOREAN?). And how long does transfer take?
Why wouldn't you transfer to AF??? and Holy crap i didn't know they were a transfer partner!!!
Three times (on three different reservations) i've went to book Delta partner award tickets. Everytime I make the purchase, it errors out for some reason. The space is then pulled from the inventory and not ticketed. Delta of course says that someone else booked it before me. This is the third time it happened. So either I have really bad luck, or delta phone reps have no idea waht they're talking about. In any event, they can't book the award because it isn't in inventory (verified on expert flyer). This seems like an IT glitch - any experience?
What Airline?
Here are my top 3 guesses:1) MU (never trust MU on DL, I've had this way to many times)2) CZ (probably a blackout date)3) CI (randomly pops up as an issue)
Ding ding ding - it is/was MU. The space went away - and while I was booking the earlier flight it reappeared on Expert Flyer, DL and FlyingBlue. They were able to book and ticket. I've had this previously with AZ - twice. It must be a Delta IT glitch
And once had it on SU as well. Common denominator, delta IT sucks.
delta have done away with award but partner travel was always the lowest rung on the old chart, they have now quietly gone and lifted up those rates, I have picked up 2 so far. usa - Australia on virgin Australia has gone from 80k in business to 95k. nyc to tlv in Aeroflot business has gone from 70 to 85k. which other can you find ?
coach to London has gone up on virgin atlantic to 40k from 30k.
sorry i meant using delta miles to fly on virgin its 40k one way, they charge less for flying on their own metal
