Max of your own, or overall? I wouldn't do a 3BM just for this, but if you're doing one anyway, why not. IMHO $75 is marginal in the context of 100k+ MR (or whatever your signup bonus for all three cards is).

AsherO,
New to this so need some insight, why wouldn't you do a 3 or 4 BM * 2 (husband and wife) for the SBS, and maybe even *3 if I get cards for my son too.
I'm newish to this and cancelled all my previous starwood and AA AMEX cards to avoid paying the fee.  I know now I should have downgraded instead :(  But I really enjoyed the SBS the past few years and want to participate :)

Also is Macy's AMEX considered a true AMEX for SBS, can I get an AU on it and get credit for both, or only the primary holder?

If I do this 3 BM what AMEX cards are now "hot".  I have just an old AMEX blue and an AMEX simply biz.

You don't do a 3BM to get $75. If you want to do a 3BM anyway the $75 is icing on the cake.

works with any amex as long as the numbers are diffrent. A word of caution, amex branded cards as opposed to issued cards i.e. Citi, macys, and similar is supposed to work. If it dosent it will be a little tricky to get the credit. By doing a 3X3BM you can maximize with icing, but remember you need to get approved for all cards, and get them in time. Its cutting a bit close if you will need a recon.

If you 3BM platinums, you should get them on time even with recon.  They overnight them usually.
