And AFAIK AC's routing rules are hands down better than UA's. 2 stopovers, plus routing to Asia via Europe and home via pacific for RTW.
2 stopovers is an advantage. But with UA you can go via EU or via the Pacific on a one way USA-Asia. How is AC better here?

And AC generally enforces MPM.
Save your time, I don't answer PM. Post it in the forum and a dedicated DDF'er will get back to you as soon as possible.

5 advantages AC has currently:
1. 90K to Europe, when on UA and LX no YQ it's amazing (especially last minutes, where the YQ falls off as well).
2. No close in booking fees. Worth for domestic last minute RT's
3. Flat rate lap child which is amazing. (had times where UA and US wanted $2900 for the lap child)
4. 2 stop over + open Jaw.
5. a lot better availability on SQ and some others (IE, SIN-PER/BNE/SYD/MEL where SQ J is almost non-existent on UA, it's all over AC)

IME they never enforced MPM, especially over the phone.

No, even by long-selling...
Give it a shot.

Try also SIN-BOM/IST etc..

Last day for WorldPoints transfer to AC (Air Canada Aeroplan), it's now or never time!

if booked last minute the YQ falls off on other airlines besides UA AND LX?

I'm confused.

AC doesn't impost YQ on UA and LX travel even in advance AFAIK, so how does the parenthetical make sense?

I know I'm late in the game but are AC/Aeroplan points the same and are they easily sell-able?
I had some 25k points that went poof this past year because i didn't (couldn't) use them.
I have the 25k worldpoints and am wondering whether to transfer to AirCanada or Aeroplan - or does it not make a difference?

They are the same thing.

If you are  looking to sell them you probably better off pre transfer. But I would definitely transfer them now before they go down in value.

Visa Bank of America Worldpoints.
Is there any way to move these into a frequent flyer account, or am I stuck using them on purchasing flights at a penny a point...$1200 flight for 120,000 points?
