Cant go to the other smaller islands and see Venice in one day...I thought the other islands were worth it

So we did the following in a day:
-davened at the Spanish synagoge (biggest one in Venice)
-ate breakfast with the locals
-Jewish museum
-a quick pass by Gam Gam
-the Rialto bridge
-San Marco (and went up the tower)
-Murano glass blowing

Nice list but that is definitely not

everything in less than 24 hours.

My guess:

its very nice...ate there last month. a lot quieter and is the place where Venice residents eat so you'll be able to meet some locals (both shabbos and during the week).
