I have 2 tickets for UA for tonight (12th) for the 10:50 flight ewr-tlv I want to go standby for the 3 flight!  On the phone they said slim chance. Online on their website the seat map is showing 18 seats. What are my chances?

Flight is sold out in business but many seats available in economy

As of this morning it looks like there are 7 seats avialable in coach. What do you think my odds of getting standby for 2. I really dont want to sit in airport for hours?
